  •   As a former D1 athlete, I was a bit of a know-it-all and had a hard time trusting a trainer could actually make any real difference in my post-three-kid, injury-riddled body. Dale listened carefully to my fears about getting hurt while pushing me just enough past plateaus I thought I'd never pass again. His personal experience with injuries and master's degree makes him absolutely invaluable. Dale strikes a magic balance: he's highly educated, has decades of training experience and also possesses a true gift at reading people and understanding a real limit versus fear. I trust Dale completely and know he has my health and safety as his top priority. I could not recommend him more emphatically. During Covid, through his Changing Bodies program, I was able to continue working out virtually which was seamless.       After several months of going to traditional PT that included pilates, weight training, acupuncture and massage at a center recommended by my joint and spine doctor, I had yet to experience any notable relief from lower back pain caused by stenosis and a bulging disc. Luckily, I was given the info for Dale/Changing Bodies from a relative. I was hesitant at first to pursue one-on-one training thinking it just wasn't my thing. However, after speaking with Dale and learning his extensive background and experience, I decided it was worth a try. From the get-go I felt Dale's confidence in his approach and it made me feel that maybe I could finally conquer my back pain. Well, suffice to say that many months later, my back pain is very much diminished, if not gone completely, and I am stronger and more confident in my daily activities. Dale tailors each session to your personal needs and is really good at distinguishing between physical limits and where one can be pushed to the next level. On some side notes, parking is very accessible and his outdoor studio is very pleasant, private and tranquil.

  •   2 years ago, I started a pattern of throwing my back out once every couple of months. I'd be in bed for days with back spasms. This was affecting every area of my life...especially my ability to work. I did what I thought was a smart thing and hired a trainer. Turned out she was not at all aware of how to heal my back and in fact made it worse! A good friend of mine recommended Dale after she had a major turnaround with her back issues. I've been working with Dale for 9 months now an am very pleased with the results. Because of his own personal issues with his back, he is extraordinarily aware and sensitive to back issues and what it
    takes to really heal. I am stronger than I've ever been and haven't had a back spasm in months. Dale is the ultimate professional and  and I can't recommend him enough!

  •   Dale has been training me for several years and I am so grateful for his knowledge. As someone now in their 50s I greatly appreciate Dale's approach, always making sure I'm properly stretched and warmed up prior to working out and always ending the session stretching again. Dale pushes you to where you need to be but not to the point where you might injure yourself. Many other trainer's seem to take a one size fits all approach without consideration for a person's age, but not Dale, he structures your workout based on ability and what's best for your body.

      Dale knows what he's doing. I have a chronic back condition and for years I  have been working with physical therapists, trainers, and holistic coaches without results-until I worked with Dale. In addition to being a great trainer, Dale is very knowledgeable about back mechanics and has managed my training program with success. I highly recommend working with him. Without Dale I wouldn't be able to walk without pain and now I am pain free and stronger than ever.

  •   I did Crossfit for years, and was in terrific shape, but what I didn't do was take care to mobilize or perform any real recovery exercises, needless to say my back basically stopped me from continuing on with my workouts. Then I began training with Dale, I had to find someone because ignoring my wrecked back was no longer an option; it hurt to walk let alone workout. I have been working with him for a number of years and I no longer suffer from extreme back pain. He knows how to train and program understanding what my body can and cannot take and working towards goals we have planned and achieved. This guy is the real deal, no nonsense, straight forward and knowledgeable. He is good, no, he is excellent at reading people's bodies and understanding their mechanics.

      I trained with Dale 22 years ago when we both lived in NYC.  At that time my goals were very different then they are today.  I wanted to be slimmer and basically look good in a bikini.  22 years later at 54 years old I reconnected with Dale.  I live in Fl and he lives in CA however with technology I was able to train with Dale again.  My goals are much different now.  I have 4 herniated discs in my neck and lower back issues.  My main goal was to get stronger, to build up my core and to basically get out of pain.  I have been working out with Dale 2x a week it since Oct 2020.  Initially we utilized items I had around the house; 5 pound weights, stairs, a chair.  Dale is patient, creative and extremely motivating.  I am now working with 22.5 pound weights, I am so much stronger and I feel great.  I can't believe it has been 10 months of consistent work outs.  my 17 year old son has also started working out with Dale.  Of course his goals are completely different from mine but Dale is diverse.   I can not say enough about Dale and would recommend him to anyone and everyone.
